Updated rack enclosures offer flexible design options

METCASE has redesigned its COMBIMET 19-in. rack-mount enclosures to provide greater rigidity and more usable panel space. The aluminum cases are suitable for networking and communications equipment, industrial computers, sound and studio systems, laboratory instruments, and industrial control applications.

The COMBIMET range now offers 68 standard model, size, and color permutations. Improved tabs create stronger, more reliable connections between enclosure components, while enlarged hidden apertures behind the front and rear panels allow more room for displays, controls, switches, connectors, and ventilation. Standard case heights range from 1U to 6U, with depths of 10.43 in., 14.37 in., and 24.00 in.

Enclosures have removable top, base, and rear panels for easy access to electronics. Both the top and base come with or without vents as standard. Units are available in black or light gray. COMBIMET enclosures can also be customized in size, panel design, color, finish, and graphics to meet specific application requirements.
