PIN diode switches operate up to 75 GHz

Comprising 10 models, Pasternack’s line of ultra-broadband PIN diode switches covers frequencies ranging from 1 MHz to 75 GHz. The military-grade devices are available in SP2T, SP4T, and SP8T configurations, all with integrated TTL drivers and coaxial connectors.

The product lineup includes both reflective and absorptive designs, with the latter ensuring low VSWR performance. According to the manufacturer, the switches provide input power handling of up to 1 W CW and switching speeds as low as 50 ns typical. Their wideband frequency coverage encompasses popular bands, including UHF, VHF, L, S, C, X, Ku, K, Ka, Q, U, and V. Well-suited for a diverse range of applications, the switches can be used for radar, phase array systems, broadband jamming, wireless infrastructure, 5G communications, and test and measurement.

The RoHS-compliant devices operate over a temperature range of -40°Cto +85°C and resist such environmental conditions as altitude, vibration, humidity, and shock. The ultra-broadband PIN diode switches are in stock and available for same-day shipping.
