Server-class motherboard boasts 64-core processing
An ATX server-class motherboard, the K9051 from Kontron supports Intel 4th/5th Gen Xeon scalable processors with up to 64 cores. The LGA 4677-socketed processor has a maximum thermal design power (TDP) of 350 W maximum and is paired with an Intel C741 chipset.
Complementing the K9051’s processing power is up to 768 Gbytes of DDR5 5600-MHz RDIMM memory and eight independent memory channels. Memory density options range from 16 Gbytes to 96 Gbytes for each of the eight channels.
The K9051 motherboard is capable of continuous 24/7 operation for 10 years in demanding environments, making it well-suited for AI, imaging, and industrial processing. Five PCIe Gen 5 expansion slots provide ample room for additional hardware components and future upgrades, ensuring scalability as computing requirements evolve. Onboard interfaces include two 10GBASE-T Ethernet ports, six USB 3.1 ports, and one RS-232 serial port.
The K9051-C741 ATX motherboard works with Ubuntu 22.04 and Windows Server 2022. Use the product page link below to learn more and check availability.
