About Air Quality Research Ltd (‘AQR’):
- Established 2008.
- Developed a novel highly Advanced Oxidation Process for fluid disinfection.

disinfection agents).
- Technology validation report from the National Measurement Lab (NML, formerly the
Laboratory of the Government Chemist).

The opportunity:
We have spent 10 years developing this highly novel and disruptive technology, funded
through raising over £1m in a combination of Government innovation grants and private
equity. The technology has been commercially tested in UK pilot trials and is ready for market.
The technology has a wide range of applications in worldwide markets, including but not
limited to:
• Drinking Water treatment (municipal and bottled water).
• Waste Water treatment.
• Legionella control.
• Industrial Process water treatment & Vegetable / fresh produce washing.
• Milk sterilisation & Medical applications.

The Price:
We are flexible about how this is taken forward – license or sale of technology.
There is an Engagement Fee of £5,000.00. This fee will enable engagement on a priority basis
(first come first served), the engagement fee will also cover any initial Consultancy required.

AQR SafeWater® - Key features & Benefits:
• Low power so can be operated using mains or renewable energy.
• Requires no added chemicals and does not create harmful disinfection byproducts.
• Requires no expensive replacement parts.
• Flexible, due to the modular design, for point-of-use small-scale treatment making it ideal for rural,
dispersed and remote island communities.
• Proven effective disinfection in raw surface waters of particularly low optical clarity (< 12 %), removing
the need for pre-treatment.
• Remote monitoring and operation, reducing maintenance requirements and ensuring effective
operation performance autonomously.
• Easy to install, operate and maintain (based on a domestic central heating boiler model), making it ideal
for householders and small communities in remote locations.
